Pakistan has one of the world's highest maternal mortality rates. In interior Sindh, most births occur without skilled attendance. ZIMM Global's Maternal & Child Health Campaign trains Lady Health Workers, runs antenatal clinics, conducts mass vaccination drives, and distributes nutritional supplements — saving lives before and after birth.

Key Interventions

The campaign trains Lady Health Workers in antenatal assessment, safe delivery, newborn care, exclusive breastfeeding, and postnatal danger signs. Each LHW covers a catchment of 200 households, conducting monthly home visits and referring high-risk pregnancies to city hospitals.
