The program brings qualified doctors, nurses, and medicine to communities that have never accessed formal healthcare. At each camp, services include OPD consultations, blood pressure and diabetes screening, eye checkups, maternal health services, vaccination drives, and referrals for complex cases.
The Bagh E Zouq Nutrition Program
Running alongside the medical camps, ZIMM Global's Bagh E Zouq program targets severe acute malnutrition in children under five. Community health workers conduct monthly screenings, distribute therapeutic food supplements, and refer critical cases — achieving a 28% reduction in malnutrition rates in partner villages.
