Ahead of the 2024 winter season, ZIMM Global has pre-positioned 3,000+ relief kits across 18 union councils of Balochistan and KPK, ensuring no family faces deadly cold without basic supplies.
Every year, Pakistan loses dozens of lives to cold — most of them children and the elderly in mountainous Balochistan and KPK who lack basic winter supplies. ZIMM Global's annual Winter Relief Drive ensures these families receive help before temperatures become lethal.
For Winter 2024, ZIMM has pre-positioned 3,000+ relief kits across 18 union councils of Balochistan and KPK. Distribution began November 15 and will conclude by December 20 — before the coldest months of January and February.
What Each Kit Contains
- 2 high-quality blankets per family
- 1 set of warm clothing per family member
- 15-day food ration (flour, oil, lentils, rice)
- Hygiene bundle
- Kerosene fuel cans for mountainous areas
