National Humanitarian Achievement
Establishment of a Tent City for 600 Families
ZIMM Global Educational & Welfare Society demonstrated exemplary leadership by establishing a fully organized Tent City that provided safe shelter, dignity, and protection to more than 600 displaced families during a humanitarian emergency.
This landmark initiative received national and international recognition. The Tent City was officially visited by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chief Minister, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, officials from United Nations agencies, and other prominent dignitaries.
These visits acknowledged ZIMM Global’s capacity in emergency response, inter-agency coordination, and people-centered humanitarian action. The Tent City stood as a symbol of hope, resilience, and organized relief, setting a benchmark for disaster response efforts across Pakistan.
