Education
Classroom Teaching Assistant
- 4–8 hrs / week
- Karachi, Hyderabad
Support primary and secondary school teachers in ZIMM-funded rural classrooms. Assist with literacy, numeracy, and basic digital skills sessions.
Skills / Requirements
- Intermediate or above qualification
- Patient and communicative
- Urdu / Sindhi speaker preferred
Education
Digital Literacy Trainer
- 2–4 hrs / week
- Karachi
Teach basic computer skills, MS Office, and internet safety to students and women in ZIMM digital labs. No formal teaching experience required.

- Basic English or Urdu literacy
- Enthusiasm for technology
Health
Medical Camp Volunteer
- Weekend camps (1–2/month)
- Sindh districts
Assist doctors and nurses at free community health camps. Roles include patient registration, crowd management, first aid, and medication distribution.

Emergency
ZERF Field Responder
- On-call during disasters
- Sindh-wide deployment
Join ZIMM’s Emergency Rescue Force (ZERF). Deploy during floods, fires, and displacement crises to provide shelter, food, and logistics support.

- Age 18–45, physically fit
- Able to work in difficult conditions
- Prior first aid training an asset
Women Empowerment
Women's Skills Trainer
- 3–6 hrs / week
- Karachi, Hyderabad
Train women in tailoring, handicrafts, or small business management. Help participants develop income-generating skills and financial independence.

Environment
Tree Plantation Coordinator
- Seasonal drives (2–4/year)
- Multi-district Sindh
Organize and lead ZIMM’s annual tree plantation drives. Coordinate with schools, local government, and community leaders to plant, log, and follow up on saplings.

Community Development
Youth Entrepreneurship Mentor
- 2–3 hrs / week

Field Photographer / Videographer

Urdu / Sindhi Translator

Not at all. Most ZIMM roles are designed for motivated first-timers. We provide full orientation and field training before your first assignment. Roles like ZERF responder and medical camp may have basic physical or educational requirements, which are noted in each role description.
All ZIMM volunteer positions are unpaid. However, you receive an official certificate, verified registration, field training, and an experience that holds real weight in professional and academic contexts.
It depends on your role. Teaching and training roles require 2–8 hours per week. Emergency response roles are on-call and activated only during disasters. Remote roles like translation are fully flexible. We work around your schedule.
Yes. Many Pakistani universities accept ZIMM volunteer hours for internship credit or community service requirements. We provide official documentation confirming your service hours and role description on ZIMM letterhead.
Yes. We have active project offices in Hyderabad and Dadu, and remote roles available to volunteers anywhere in Pakistan. Outstation volunteers can also apply for seasonal drives and field camps.
Volunteers are expected to respect community members’ dignity, maintain confidentiality of beneficiary information, follow ZIMM’s non-discrimination policy, and represent the organization professionally. A full code of conduct is shared during orientation.
