ZIMM Global’s Rural School Support Program targets the most inaccessible communities in Sindh where school enrollment rates are critically low. Through scholarships, teacher training, infrastructure support, and digital learning labs, the program has kept thousands of children in school who would otherwise have dropped out.
The Challenge
Pakistan has one of the world’s highest out-of-school child populations. In interior Sindh, poverty, distance, and cultural barriers keep millions of children — especially girls — from completing basic education. ZIMM Global’s program works directly in these communities.
What We Do
The program provides need-based scholarships for 2,400+ students, distributes stationery and uniforms, trains teachers in modern pedagogical methods, installs digital learning equipment, and works with families to break barriers around girl-child education.
Impact
In partner schools, enrollment increased by 38% and dropout rates fell from 42% to under 5% after three years. Matriculation pass rates improved from 54% to 81%. These outcomes have been independently verified in ZIMM Global’s annual impact reports.
